ReplyHi Atul,
Its Tony, we were colleagues at LSC. Can you advice me on the following scenario:
I have a laptop with Windows 7, 4GB Ram and 500GB Hard-drive. I want to install R12, SOA Suite and OBIEE on it, do you think its possible on Windows 7.
I need R12 to use the BI Analytics data structures and objects. Can you please advice.
Thanks
Reply@ teekay,
Hi Tony nice to hear from you. SOA and OBIEE can be done on windows 7 but I doubt if R12 can be installed on win7 (as I have never tried it on win 7). You can try R12 installation on windows server or linux or check R12 in external disk on Linux using VMware from

@ Vishal,
I don’t think Fusion Middleware(Forms and Reports) is supported on Fedora.
You can still try installing it on Fedora using

If you have 64 bit machine , install 64 bit compatible sun JDK using steps http://onlineappsdba.com/index.php/2009/11/23/how-to-install-weblogic-server-on-64-bit-os-linux-solaris/
and then use this 64 bit JDK with WebLogic
